Legislative emission limits of solid substances emitted to the ambient are constantly decreasing. Our company designed and installed technology for solid coke particles removal from the steam-air mixture during the furnace decoking including two inlet nozzles of different sizes and unique Coke Separation Chamber. Guaranteed emission rate is 20 mg/Nm3.

Installation of this unit reduces significantly contamination of the environment.
Emissions were measured by a state authority after the start-up and attested emission values of  < 20 mg/Nm³.

The furnace decoking is a periodical operation step to burn out and to release coke settled in equipment (coils, TLE). Steam and air dosage are used for this reason. Coke is released in a form of the solid particles.

Mixture of steam, air and coke is routed to the cyclone. The solid particles are separated from steam-air mixture which is released to the atmosphere via a stack. The separated solids are dropped from the cyclone to a container and transported for disposal.

The cyclone, piping, instrumentation installation and steel structure of the furnaces modification were included in the Project scope.
