The goal of the project was to ensure the safe separation of above-ground process parts of UGS Dolni Dunajovice in the Central Area and the Distributed Center 3 from the sources of gas in case of emergency (accident, fire, gas leakage, loss of equipment integrity, etc.), and then safely emergency depressurize all the high pressure equipment.

 

Intecha prepared the complete project documentation from Feasibility Study and Safety Study by HAZOP method up to Detailed Design.

This project implemented a completely new system of emergency depressurization designed mainly based on the standards EN ISO 23251, API 521 and EN 1473, including pipe system, emergency stacks and emergency control system.

<xml></xml> Installation of emergency depressurization leads to a significant increase in safety of Underground Gas Storage in Dolni Dunajovice and its surroundings.
