The project objective was a design solution for execution of the SYNTOS KRALUPY a.s. intention to install a new test unit for expandable polystyrene (XEPS) production by extrusion way to enlarge the product range.
The new XEPS test unit will process and modify a part of polystyrene polymer production to expandable one.
The extension of existing pneumatic transport distribution unit of bulk materials by air is also the scope of the project.
The produced granulate goes from XEPS line in a slow-moving pneumatic transport and is transported by nitrogen to the follow-up technology to perform surface adjustment. The project also includes the extension of existing facilities for filling, packing and storage.
