The aim of this project was to increase the butadiene storage capacity and to build a new line for the butadiene transport from the Liquefied Gas Storage Facility to the Chemical Production Area (CHPA).
The existing 1000 m3 large spherical crude C4 fraction tank will be now used for the butadiene storage. Therefore, reconstruction of the pipeline connection, the installation of a stable cooling device and tank insulation will be carried out.
Two new pumps will be fitted and a new pipe line is designed for the butadiene transport to CHPA.
