The scope was design and procurement of this new developed unique technology for filtration of coke tar particles from quench water circuit at an Ethylene Plant.

Special coke process filters kept in a steel structure are main equipment in a complete skid of the package unit.

Coke particles are to be removed from a process stream of Quench Water section of Ethylene plant definitely.

The filtration unit removes solid coke particles without any necessity of shut down of the ethylene plant. This system of separation and filtration is unique process, especially with respect to maintain the quench water loop free of coke and with possibility to discharge dry bulk separated coke from the CRU, with no negative impact to the environment and to health and safety. The process is owned by Intecha.

Installation of the coke removal unit increases EP efficiency and significantly saves operational costs, increases operational life of the equipment and it also reduces contamination of the environment. Incorporation of this process enables ethylene units to prolong operational cycles between shutdowns
