COKE REMOVAL FROM QUENCH OIL SYSTEM IN ETHYLENE PLANTS

Design and procurement of a filtration unit for the quench oil loop. The filtration unit removes solid coke particles without any necessity for shut down of the ethylene plant (EP). This system of filtration is the unique process, especially with respect to discharge of dry coke from the filters, with no negative impact to the environment and to health and safety. The process is designed and owned by Intecha.

QUENCH OIL COKE REMOVAL IMPROVEMENT

The existing unit did not reach the required efficiency, and it had a very negative impact on HSE. Consequently, the unit was reconstructed according to a study and a basic design prepared by Intecha. The objective was to install process which meets BAT requirements.

NEUTRALIZATION AND DECONTAMINATION UNIT

NDS 10 unit follows process of Treatment of mother liquid.

FLARE SYSTEM MODIFICATION

The aim of the project was to modify the flare system and the equipment of the flare unit according to the current standards (DEP, API) and to connect to flare header pressure safety valves from AVD unit and partly from NRL, which had been released to the atmosphere previously.

COKE REMOVAL FROM QUENCH OIL SYSTEM IN ETHYLENE PLANTS

Design and procurement of equipment of two unit modifications for coke separation from the quench oil loop of the ethylene plants. The special process filters have supplemented originally installed cyclones, which replaced the existing settling tank, which operation had a negative impact on the environment and health and safety at work.

The filtration unit removes solid coke particles without any necessity for shutdown of the ethylene plant (EP), with no negative impact to the environment and to health and safety. The principle of the process is the continuous removal of solid particles in hydrocyclones with subsequent filtration and washing procedure to obtain a dry solid phase. The process is designed and owned by Intecha.

REFINERY SHUT DOWN PROJECTS - 2009

The contract included six projects in total. One of them was executed before the shutdown. For the remaining projects, prefabrication was carried out at the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009. Final assembly was executed during the shutdown of Kralupy refinery.
